GENERAL INFORMATION
Alexandre Giguère obtained a Doctorate in applied physics in 2001 as part of his research at the Louis Néel Laboratory of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Grenoble, France. He has also conducted extensive work at Quebec institutions, such as the Hydrogen Institute of Trois-Rivières and the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) in Varennes. After working for several years at the University of Sherbrooke as a research professional, on the design of high-power transistors and Gallium Nitride (GaN) UV and blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs), he left the academic world and joined CEP Forensic.

As a forensic engineer and an expert in applied physics, Alexandre leads investigations into fires of all kinds. His many years of experience in the field of university research are particularly invaluable when it comes to solving highly complex assignments.
Alexandre has carried out over 800 investigations and has been recognized as an expert witness in court.
