GENERAL INFORMATION
Daniel Zaperty joined CEP Forensic in 2023 with a background in mechanical engineering technology. He completed his Technical Marine Engineering certification at Naval Fleet School Pacific while serving 9 years with the Royal Canadian Navy on the west coast. With a broad knowledge and skill set, Daniel can effectively identify and rectify issues related to mechanical systems. His experience with the RCN means Daniel has the ability to quickly determine the cause of a loss, efficiently report on how and why it occurred, and maintain a focus on safety. His experience includes the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, high and low pressure pneumatic systems, fuel transfer and distribution systems, power distribution systems, and freshwater systems.
EXPERTISE
Daniel’s prior experience has allowed him to become proficient in multiple disciplines; from power generation and propulsion to firefighting and damage control – and everything in between. His theoretical knowledge combined with his strong hand-tool skills helps him proficiently assess equipment issues and conduct mechanical engineering investigations efficiently.
