GENERAL INFORMATION
Jean-Daniel Lemay joined the multidisciplinary team of CEP in the Fall of 2017. He holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Université Laval in Quebec City, as well as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution.
EXPERTISE
Before joining CEP, Jean-Daniel worked as a research engineer in shotcrete where he carried out assignments with the private sector to develop new cementitious products, characterized materials and invent new tests. His former experience enables him to work with numerous types of concrete, such as shotcrete, pumped concrete, cast in-place concrete or pervious concrete. As a forensic engineer, Jean-Daniel carries out on-site accident investigations and prepares forensic reports. He also performs laboratory tests and simulations to verify hypotheses on the nature and cause of an accident.
