GENERAL INFORMATION

Alexandre Giguère obtained a Ph.D. in applied physics in 2001 as part of his research at the Louis-Néel laboratory of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Grenoble, France. He has also worked in the Hydrogen Institute of Trois-Rivières and the National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) of Varennes in Quebec. He left academia after working for several years at the University of Sherbrooke as a research professional on the design of high-power transistors and Gallium Nitride (GaN) based light emitting diodes (LEDs).

 

EXPERTISE

As a forensic engineer and an expert in applied physics, Alexandre conducts on-site building fire investigations of all kinds and prepares expert reports. His many years of experience in the field of university research are particularly useful when it comes to resolving highly complex assignments.

Alexandre has carried out over 800 investigations and has been recognized as an expert witness in court.
