André Delhaise
Ph.D., P.Eng., Forensic Engineer
Specialties: Materials & Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering
GENERAL INFORMATION
André Delhaise received his Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc.) in materials engineering from the University of Toronto in 2013, and his Ph.D., also in materials engineering at the University of Toronto, in 2018. Since graduating, he has worked on research and development efforts in the electronics manufacturing industry focusing on lead-free solder alloys for harsh environments, taught computer aided design and metallurgy at Algonquin College, and worked at another forensic consulting firm in the Toronto area, investigating materials-related losses.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic engineer, André carries out on-site inspections, attends joint examinations, as well as prepares expert reports. André has many years of laboratory testing and failure analysis experience, most notably in electronic assemblies, and particularly enjoys looking at and characterizing material microstructure and fracture surfaces under the microscope.
