GENERAL INFORMATION
Brett Campbell graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Biomechanics) from the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining CEP, Brett worked for various forensic engineering companies for seven years before launching his own forensic investigation company, Campbell Forensics, in 2016.
EXPERTISE
As Regional Manager, Brett ensures the technical and administrative management of the Ottawa office. As a forensic engineer in collision reconstruction and injury biomechanics, he investigates the factors influencing automotive collisions and biomechanics of human injury. Brett has extensive experience in collision reconstruction, occupant kinematics, injury causation, as well as injury risk and tolerance. His work with CEP also includes the analysis of injury preventing and mitigating effects of seatbelts, airbag deployment, and helmets.
