GENERAL INFORMATION
Carl LeBlanc joined the CEP team in January 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Montreal and a master’s degree in polymer materials from the same institution. With over 20 years of experience in material failure analysis and chemistry, Carl brings in-depth expertise in material analysis and characterization.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic chemist and metallurgist, Carl conducts investigations and analyses to determine the cause of material failures. In addition, he conducts studies on chemical processes, as well as the formulation and behavior of materials such as polymers, adhesives, paint products, glass, metals and alloys. Carl serves as an expert witness in court and has conducted over 2,500 investigations to date, with the findings presented in reports that he writes.
