GENERAL INFORMATION
Caroline is a professional engineer and a certified, experienced firefighter and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI). She has a well-rounded background in firefighting, code consulting, performance-based design and forensic investigations. Her academic path reflects her deep commitment to the fire industry. She has a DEP and a DEC in Technical Firefighting Studies, as well as a degree in Building Engineering from Concordia University and a Master’s in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. Caroline is a recognized professional member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (PMSFPE).
EXPERTISE
Caroline previously worked with CEP Forensic’s Fire and Explosion Investigation team and rejoined us as in 2025 as a Project Engineer with the expanding LRI Engineering team in Montreal. She also contributes to the CEP team by providing expertise related to building compliance. Caroline has a wealth of expertise in fire and life safety, and her experience includes fire investigation, performance-based design, fire modelling, egress modelling, code compliance, producing detailed reports, and conducting thorough analyses.
Caroline has contributed to a wide range of projects, including transit systems, airports, arenas and warehouses. She has also developed a specialized knowledge of animal fire safety. Her forward-thinking mindset, hands-on experience and positive attitude make her a valuable addition to our team.
