Cédric Parisien
M.Sc., Chemist, CFEI | Forensic Investigator
Specialties: Chemistry, Fire & Explosion
GENERAL INFORMATION
Cedric Parisien obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with a major in forensic sciences from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and a Master’s Degree in Energy and Materials sciences from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique. During his academic training, he specialized in instrumental vibrational spectroscopy analysis and in the field of polymers. His research project and results, on the development of a method to recover obliterated serial numbers in polymers, has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic investigator, Cédric conducts on-site technical and scientific investigations as well as the preparation of expert reports. Chemist by training, he performs laboratory tests and experiences to validate hypothesis on the nature and cause of accidents.
