GENERAL INFORMATION
As National Corporate Practices Manager, Éric Chainé oversees the various aspects of service delivery, the main objective of which is to ensure that it meets the standards to which the company adheres. More recently, Éric has also been responsible for the interim administrative management of the Ottawa office.
On the technical side, Éric holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has extensive experience in industrial electrical installations.
EXPERTISE
As a senior forensic engineer, Éric leads multidisciplinary investigations and prepares expert reports in the context of claims and litigation. His main areas of expertise include equipment failure analysis and the behaviour of electrical systems in a fire environment. During his years of experience as a forensic engineer, Éric also conducted laboratory tests and simulations to verify hypotheses on the root cause of accidents.
He has carried out over 2,000 investigations and has been recognized as an expert witness in numerous court cases.
