GENERAL INFORMATION
Guy Castagne joined CEP’s Fire & Explosion team in Ottawa in September 2022. Prior to joining CEP, Guy worked within the Fuels Safety program at Ontario’s Technical Standards & Safety Authority for 17 years. He also worked in the HVAC industry for 15 years, both as a technician and a commercial/industrial gas instructor at La Cité Collégiale. He also served in other roles, such as vice chair at the Regional Common Ground Alliance, acting statutory director under the Technical Standards & Safety Act, and as a member of the B149.1 code committee.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic investigator, Guy conducts fire and explosion and general mechanical engineering investigations and prepares expert reports for clients.
