GENERAL INFORMATION
Jake Harvey joined CEP in March 2023. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2018 and is a Certified FIre and Explosion Investigator of the National Association of Fire Investigators (CFEI) and a certified Fire Investigation Technician of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI-FIT). Jake worked in failure analysis and safety assessment before becoming a Fire Investigator in 2020.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic engineer, Jake carries out on-site fire and explosion investigations and prepares expert reports. To complete his investigations, he conducts laboratory tests and simulations to verify hypotheses on the nature and cause of accidents.
