GENERAL INFORMATION
Marie Soula joined CEP’s Materials and Chemistry teams in April 2023. She holds a doctorate in wood engineering and biosourced materials from Laval University (jointly with Centrale Lille Institut). During her studies as a chemical engineer at the National School of Chemistry in Lille, she specialized in the shaping and characterization of materials.
EXPERTISE
As a forensic investigator, Marie carries out on-site accident investigations and prepares forensic reports. The files that are assigned to her deal with rupture analysis and materials performance, degradation or contamination. In addition, she performs various laboratory tests and research. Marie is particularly interested in investigations concerning biobased materials. In the past, she participated in the research and development of treatments for the fire protection of several materials including polymers for 3D printing and wood flooring.
