Nicolas Turcot

GENERAL INFORMATION

Nicolas Turcot has held a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in design and manufacturing, from ÉTS since 2022. During his studies, he completed an internship in the building mechanics industry, gaining in-depth knowledge of related mechanical systems. Following graduation, he worked for two years as an engineer specializing in industrial gearboxes.

EXPERTISE

As a forensic engineer, Nicolas conducts investigations into vehicle and building mechanical systems in cases involving component failure, breakdown, fire and collision. He leads on-site loss investigations and prepares expert reports. He also performs tests and simulations in the laboratory to validate hypotheses regarding the origins and causes of failures.
