GENERAL INFORMATION
Olivia joined CEP Forensic in 2025 as a Forensic Engineer within the Materials and Metallurgy group. She holds a Masters in Material Science & Engineering from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in investigations of orthopedic implant failures and biomaterials. As a Materials & Metallurgical Engineer, Olivia has conducted hundreds of investigations into mechanical system failures and equipment breakdowns. She has also gained expertise in a wide range of product liability investigations.
EXPERTISE
As a Forensic Engineer, Olivia conducts investigations and root cause analyses of a wide range of failures, including breakdowns of mechanical systems and equipment, corrosion, fatigue, mechanical failures, product malfunctions, and the premature degradation or deterioration of materials. Throughout her career in research and development and forensic engineering, she has honed her skills in specialized microscopy and fractographic analysis and acquired in-depth knowledge of materials characterization and testing techniques.
