GENERAL INFORMATION
Omar is a structural engineer with a combination of academic and industry experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Concordia University (2022) and a Master of Applied Science from Ain Shams University (2018). His expertise lies in advanced concrete structures and application of FRP systems for new and existing structures. His research has contributed to improving the durability, and sustainability of structural systems through innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Omar’s professional experience includes structural design, condition assessment, failure analysis, rehabilitation, and construction review across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, in accordance with CSA standards and building codes. He also brings strengths in team leading, project coordination, technical reporting, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

As a forensic engineer, Omar conducts on-site investigations and prepares detailed forensic engineering reports. He performs structural assessments, numerical analysis, and technical evaluations to determine the causes of structural failures, deficiencies, and construction-related issues.
