Shane Kasprick

GENERAL INFORMATION

Shane Kasprick came to CEP in 2018, after working in the construction industry for over 15 years, first as a red-seal carpenter and later as a construction engineer. He specializes in the investigation of damaged structures including failures, and fire damaged buildings. Shane has extensive experience in the review of buildings as they relate to construction issues and code compliance, as well as providing repair recommendations for compromised buildings.

EXPERTISE

Using a variety of techniques, Shane analyzes the structural integrity of buildings involved in losses. He has completed numerous investigations including determining the extent of damage to concrete and wood foundations, as well as slab-on-grade pads. He has assessed vehicle impact damages, and evaluated a variety of structures, from farm buildings to commercial structures. His breadth of experience allows him to competently handle both residential and commercial claims.
