GENERAL INFORMATION
As Director – Growth and Transformation, Stéphane is responsible for the strategic execution of growth initiatives and provides high-level technical expertise. In addition to working on business development, inter-company integration, and innovation, he will be directly involved in complex, multidisciplinary technical projects, acting as a subject matter expert, mentor and coach.
Stéphane worked at CEP for over 15 years starting in 2003 and had the opportunity to establish a team of engineers and scientists in Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada for a pan-Canadian insurer from 2019 to 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and applied mechanical engineering, having previously studied sciences (mathematics and physics). Through more than 30 years of forensic engineering practice, he has gained particular experience in civil engineering, structural engineering, building envelopes, and related fields.
EXPERTISE
Before joining CEP in 2003, Stéphane was a project manager and forensic expert at Inspec-Sol Consultants Dury (now GHD) starting in 1992. He contributed to various projects, including the construction of urban tunnels, the construction of the Bell Centre, the Montreal Metro extension to the City of Laval, the refurbishment of the Beauharnois hydroelectric power plant, and numerous residential, infrastructure, and asset management projects. As an expert and court witness, Stéphane recognizes the importance of quality in engineering projects, accurate determination of the origin and cause of damage, and the durability of structures.
