GENERAL INFORMATION
Benson received his diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Durham College in 2002, and worked in quality and safety for 15 years prior to starting with CEP. He oversees the safety operations within CEP, including compliance with provincial and national laws, and Master Service Agreements with clients. Benson also works as a Forensic Investigator within the property group of CEP, where he is involved in fire cause and origin determinations, failure analysis, assessment of equipment malfunctions.
EXPERTISE
Benson works to ensure that all of CEP’s employees are working safely, in compliance with our safety protocols, and are up to date on safety training for the environments and situations they might find themselves in. He also aids our engineers on site when required in a variety of areas, including mechanical failure or fire investigations and collision reconstructions. His depth of knowledge in the best-practices for safety and guidance of CEP’s safety program ensure our staff are able to safely work on all types of losses.
