Carly joined CEP shortly after her graduation from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She was originally with the Accident Reconstruction group and was involved in the investigation of motor vehicle collisions and the preparation of corresponding reports. She has since moved to the Failure group, where she carries out investigations regarding property losses for failures and fires and prepares expert reports. She specializes in large, complex litigation files and has conducted laboratory testing to verify various hypotheses.
Carly is part of the Property group at CEP, specializing in failure analysis and fire investigation. Carly’s assignments have included failure and fire investigations with some large and complex assignments involving the review and organization of complex litigation files related to property losses.
Carly has helped execute staged low speed motor vehicle collisions. These crash tests were constructed as part of an ongoing research project to supplement currently available data. She has also participated in numerous visibility studies.
