Thinking outside the box
Shane has worked in the structural group with CEP for the last four years. A typical day could find him investigating various structural failures, construction deficiencies, fire losses, and vehicle impacts. After collecting all the information and finding all the relevant information, he uses every available resource and thinks outside the box to determine a cause of loss or extent of the damage.
Shane works both alone and as part of the civil/structural team. Together, they collaborate on different projects and challenges, helping our clients resolve matters quickly by providing a scope of repair to get the structure back to pre-loss conditions.
Variety is everything
On the job, Shane loves the variety! Every file brings new challenges, requiring him to continuously learn and expand his knowledge in all areas within the civil/structural discipline. He enjoys working with his team and clients to determine the cause of each loss.
Shane is known for being willing to run out to a site at a moment’s notice, whether it be near or far away. Although he’s a man of few words, he gets straight to the point and tells it like it is. He’s thorough in his analysis and always ready to discuss files and work with his colleagues.
Vintner extraordinaire
When not writing down measurements or looking in attics at broken trusses, Shane can be found brewing up a batch of his homemade wine and beer.
